Blue Highway Pizza
Challenge
Redesign a non-functional image driven pizza web site design into a cross browser compatible, highly optimized website.
Solution
We used the general concepts from the original web site design and took it to a new level both aesthetically and functionally by adding movement, high quality photography and CSS.
Description
Blue Highway is a pizzeria located in Micanopy, Florida midway between Ocala and Gainesville. Chef Ruffino, was the Executive Chef, University of Florida and Corporate Executive Chef, Sodexho USA. In 2003 Chef Ruffino was named one of the Top 50 Research and Development Culinarians in the USA, as well as winning the coveted Menu Masters award. The pizzas are made with flair for ingredient combinations, the sandwiches are equally creative and the dough is so wonderfully textured that a baked plate of it with a bowl of hummus is tastier and more satisfying than an entree in many other restaurants.
