The Jacksonville Equestrian Center is situated on land that was originally part of the US Navy Master Jet Base, Cecil Field. Federal BRAC legislation closed the base in 1999, and the City of Jacksonville took over more than 17000 from the Navy. The Naval Base inspired this unique Jacksonville logo design.

Area citizens approached the Department of Interior about using a portion of the land for recreational purposes. Over 2000 acres were granted as Public Park Land to the City of Jacksonville, with 823 acres of that designated as “active” recreational property. The Jacksonville Equestrian Center is part of that parcel, which allows for future expansion. 

Jacksonville Equestrian Center is a $30 million 80 acre facility. The area around JEC is surrounded by an Olympic sized indoor heated pool for swimming competitions, softball fields, and trail head access to both paved and in paved trails that citizens can utilize for riding, cycling, hiking, and fishing. Across the street is the 5000 acre preserve, Jennings Forest, which offers trails and kayaking courses.

The Jacksonville Equestrian Center is situated in a location that affords families who visit for horse shows the opportunity to truly make the trip a vacation. Equestrian Center’s Hand Drawn Vector Jacksonville Logo Design With Ocean Theme

Our artists wanted to capitalize on the Jacksonville Equestrian Center’s close proximity to the area’s beaches when creating the Jacksonville logo design. We settled on a gorgeous abstract line art horse head design emerging from ocean waves. Two different fonts were used in this unique custom logo. A custom hand lettered brush script font weaves “Jacksonville” into the horse’s mane and the ocean waves. An old world style serif makes up the balance of the company name.
