Choosing a graphic artist to work with me to develop a logo for my Moon Mountain Sanctuary proved challenging. A logo has to instantly convey the emotion and message being communicated.
I needed someone who could capture the free spirit of my wild horse herd and the amazing place they now call home. Freedom was an important emotion as my herd lost their freedom when caught in the national park. My farm has given that freedom back to them and they run free as a herd, nestling under an imposing volcanic mountain.
If that was not enough I wanted the moon, that shines on our mountain as part of the logo. Then I found Eqgraphics. Jackie, was amazing, while initially a little daunted by a logo with so many elements and messages. She said let me dream on this logo a little. I knew she understood what I wanted for my horse Sanctuary as well as my logo.We coordinated by email and phone and slowly Jackie’s ideas and concept took shape.
When I first saw the logo, I knew instantly Jackie had done the impossible and captured all the elements in a way that I would be proud to put this logo on a blue gum slab at our gate, my float and my horse clinic material.
